Can I issue partial refunds or only full refunds?

Yes, you can issue partial refunds if you need to refund a portion of a payment (for example, if the customer is only returning part of the order or if there was an issue with part of the service). Partial refunds are commonly used for:

  • Product returns where the customer keeps part of the order.
  • Discounts or compensation for service issues that don’t require a full refund.
  • Subscription cancellations when a customer wants to stop using a service but still gets some value from previous payments.

Make sure to clearly communicate the reason for a partial refund to the customer and document the refund amount and conditions properly. Quaife.net allows partial refunds and this can be done directly through the portal.
